Join Hawaiʻi Young Healthcare Professionals as we tour the Queen's Medical Center - Manamana Emergency Department expansion on Monday, May 12, 2025 from 2-3pm. Queen's Medical Center - Manamana will open its expanded emergency department in early summer 2025 increasing capacity from 35 to 76 beds. The additional capacity will enhance QMC's ability to improve patient flow and safety particularly for both isolation precautions and behavioral health patients.

  • 2:05pm - Opening Remarks - Jason Chang, CEO & President QHS
  • 2:15pm - Emergency Department Tour - Frank Okimoto, VP of Capital Construction & Campus Development
  • 3:00pm - Conclusion of Tour
